<description><![CDATA[The young people hang out place has to be Clifton, but as mentioned it is expensive.  Add Redland to the given list.We had a flat for 4 years off Cotham Brow and it really wasn't too far to walk from there down St. Michael's Hill into the Town (we had no car).Before that I lived in Horfield, just off the Gloucester Road, in Wellington Hill - that's not humming but it is (was) a safe area although you'd not walk to the Centre in 20 mins - it would be a hop on a bus job.The docks area is now a hub]]></description>

It is a great place to live after graduating - I'd go back there to live if the houses weren't so expensive!There have been lots of development on the campus in recent years - more housing for students and the city is in the middle of a Â£360 million shopping mall construction - SouthGate shopping centre, Phase 1 of SouthGate will open in Autumn 2009.
